5 week Sensory Garden Program

for ages 4-10

Week 1Coming together through our senses - think herbal scent and taste exploration, mixing simple herbal teas and getting hands on with different flowers and seed pods. Garden potions anyone?

Week 2Soil life -think mud play and art, scientific explorations of different soil types and textures, and mixing them with water. Who wants to be a worm farmer?

Week 3Seeds, seedlings and patience - think seed sorting and pattern exploration, seedlings to planting and mini hot houses to take home.

Week 4Water and weather - Water play with various items to fill, empty, measure etc. Taste test rain, town and filtered waters. Water some plants and make a rain gauge.

Week 5 Garden treasure Hunt - Use all of your senses to find different garden items, hunt for and identify bugs and build a bug hotel. Explore different leaves.

COST: $25 per child, per session

Sessions are capped at 10 children and a supervising adult must be present.
