5 week Sensory Garden Program

for ages 4-10

Sessions run each Wednesday from February 11th - March 11th, from 10-11.30am.

at Mount Nelson.

Week 1 Coming together through our senses - think herbal scent and taste exploration, mixing simple herbal teas and getting hands on with different flowers and seed pods. Garden potions anyone?

Week 2 Soil life -think mud play and art, scientific explorations of different soil types and textures, and mixing them with water. Who wants to be a worm farmer?

Week 3 Seeds, seedlings and patience - think seed sorting and pattern exploration, seedlings to planting and mini hot houses to take home.

Week 4 Water and weather - Water play with various items to fill, empty, measure etc. Taste test rain, town and filtered waters. Water some plants and make a rain gauge.

Week 5 Garden treasure Hunt - Use all of your senses to find different garden items, hunt for and identify bugs and build a bug hotel. Explore different leaves.

COST: $25 per session or book all 5 for $100

Sessions are capped at 10 children and a parent must be present.
